Our engineering courses are delivered by industry experienced tutors and will set you up for an exciting future in the sector in a number of roles, including an aeronautical engineer, electrical engineer or mechanical engineer.
You might already be working in an engineering role but need that all important qualification to get ahead in your career. Or you might be working in a different sector and want to make a change. Whatever your aspirations we can help get you there.
You will study at our Rye Hill Campus and have access to the latest manufacturing equipment, including a full fabrication shop, machine shop, CNC and more, all to help you develop the skills and knowledge the industry needs now.

What can I do with an Engineering qualification?
Daily tasks:
- Organises and establishes control systems to monitor operational efficiency and performance of materials and systems.
- Ensures that equipment, operation and maintenance comply with design specifications and safety standards.
- Designs mechanical equipment, such as steam, internal combustion and other non-electrical motors for railway locomotives, road vehicles, aeroplanes and other machinery.
- Determines materials, equipment, piping, capacities, layout of plant or system and specification for manufacture.
- Undertakes research and advises on energy use, materials handling, thermodynamic processes, fluid mechanics, vehicles and environmental controls.
