Overview

This course is suitable for anyone who has successfully completed Level 1 Diploma Plumbing who wish to progress further in the plumbing trade.

Who the course is for

This course is designed as a progression route for Level 1 Plumbing students who wish to progress their plumbing skills to the next level.

Qualification Gained

City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and Domestic Heating.

A combination of practical and theory sessions. This will incorperate a range of learning styles in order to engage learners to enable successfull achievment of the course.

Assessment will be carried out throughout the course by qualified assessors.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should already have achieved a Level 1 Diploma in Plumbing.

Students should be keen and enthusiastic with a desire to fully complete the course.

If English is not your first language, you will need to pass an English Test with a score of 5.5.

Course Costs

16 to 18s

Learners are eligible for free tuition if they are aged 16-18 when beginning their studies.

If the course being applied for is a two-year qualification, you will continue to be eligible for free tuition for the remainder of the course.

If the course being applied for is two separate one-year qualifications and you begin studying year one of the course aged 18, you will be required to pay fees for the second year.

Please note, if you are applying from Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland you may be subject to different funding rules than students who live in England.
