Why did you choose to study at the University Centre?
After I had completed my level four oversees qualification the University Centre offered the opportunity to continue my studies with the level five qualification of the Electrical Electronic Engineering degree.

Why did you choose the course?
To complete my degree and advance my career. I loved that there was a mixture of practical and theoretical aspects to the course.

What are the facilities like at the University Centre?
I use the library and the support team, they are very helpful, as the education here is different from how it is in Spain. They really supported me when I was working on my presentation, from how to approach the presentation to the delivery of it. This really helped my confidence with my work.

Did you attend an Open Day prior to starting at the University Centre? If so, did you find it useful?
My friend studied here previously and has successfully gone on to secure a graduate job. This really encouraged me to apply here, as I knew from his own experience I could do the same. The University Centre has great networks within the Engineering industry, so I feel that will be helpful.

Do you like the fact assessment is not all based around exams?
I love this, we have presentations, reports, portfolios and more. I feel as a student I am encouraged to research and explore my learning in more than one way.

How do you think your degree has prepared you for employment?
I have gained experience in the industry, but with the addition of my degree qualification, I feel I am more ready than ever to enter the industry with the new skills and knowledge gained from the University Centre.
