Overview
This course is aimed at students who have successfully completed a Foundation Degree (or equivalent) and managers or aspiring managers within the airline and airport industry. The course is designed to develop your management and leadership skills to enable you to become a more efficient and effective manager within the workplace.
This top up degree is delivered at the main Rye Hill Campus making use of the dedicated HE study spaces and well stocked Learning Resource Centre. Teaching also takes place at Newcastle College's world class purpose built Aviation Academy at Newcastle International Airport which houses two Jet Provost aircraft, a fuselage based classroom, a BAE Jetstream 31 aircraft and a fully functioning Boeing 737 aircraft.
You will be taught by staff who have extensive experience of airport operations, cabin crew operations, cabin crew training, aviation organisation management and academic research. You will be encouraged to apply for professional accreditation by staff who are active in both local and national networks.
