You will be based at our Newcastle School of Education (NSE) which has an excellent reputation for teacher training and professional development. It is one of only ten Centres for Excellence in Teacher Training in the UK. So you know you will be in safe hands.

You will be taught by experienced tutors who have spent many years working in the education sector as teachers and education professionals.

A range of teaching specialisms are available, such as Numeracy and Maths and Special Educational Needs as well as CELTA and DELTA qualifications so you can teach English as a Foreign Language.

This Training, Assessment, Quality Assurance (TAQA) course is perfect if you have a strong vocational subject knowledge and want to become an assessor, this may be student or employee focused.
