Pass or higher in Level 5 Foundation Degree, Diploma in Higher Education or HND (related to Computer Science and/or Digital Technologies subjects).

You may be invited to a discretionary interview.

If you are a current Newcastle College student and successfully meet the published Level 5 entry criteria in an appropriate subject[s], you will be guaranteed a place on this course.             

Applicants are normally expected to have achieved grade 4 or higher in GCSE Maths and English or the Level 2 equivalent (i.e. Functional Skills or Adult Literacy/Numeracy).

Upon successful completion of this degree you can progress onto a Masters qualification and further specialise in your selected area of computing, or move into employment within the industry. This course will develop your skills to allow for a career in website development, software development, IT management, IT consultancy, teaching and IT training roles or other related industries.
