The £250m investment in the wind sector is set to triple the number of jobs by 2030. To help meet this demand, this Energy Engineering degree aims to produce multi-skilled work-ready graduates who are able to make an impact within the energy sector. The only one of its kind in the North East and taught from our specialist Energy Academy, you will develop core hand-tool skills and become knowledgeable in solar, geothermal, hydro and tidal power. Supported by Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, Royal IHC, Subsea North East and Port Training Services, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the industry whilst also having access to a working wind turbine.
