More about the course

Esports is a competitive and professional sport centred around video games. Many competitions see teams of professional players compete for prizes in large-scale tournaments.

With 99% of 8-16 year olds playing video games (Digital Schoolhouse, 2018) Esports is predicted to become a rapidly growing industry in the UK.

This fun and innovative Level 3 Esports course will help you gain the right skills to progress into the industry or at University level. It will give you an opportunity to learn how to plan and manage events and tournaments. You could also compete in weekly national competitions hosted by The British Esports Association.

The course has been developed in partnership with Newcastle United Foundation, which could provide a platform for you to represent Newcastle United in national competitions with like-minded classmates.
