Newcastle College is working in partnership with Mindful Education to deliver award-winning professional courses for adult learners, designed to fit in and around work and life commitments.

As more and more people are impacted by the pandemic, increasing numbers of adults are looking to retrain, change careers or upskill and Newcastle College is one of the many education providers offering new solutions to help them fit learning around their lives.

Delivered in partnership with Mindful Education, Online and On Campus courses at Newcastle College offer high-quality, flexible professional qualifications in accounting, accredited by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). These award-winning courses combine the flexibility of online learning with the benefits of tutor-led classroom sessions.

Adults without an existing full Level 3 qualification (equivalent to two A-levels) there is a wide range of courses available fully funded (free of charge) including the highly regarded AAT Level 3 course. Funding is also available to assist learners with the Level 2 AAT course.

Jo Phillips, Director of Adult Education at Newcastle College, commented: “Continually learning throughout your life not only ensures your skills are relevant and competitive, but it also has a range of personal benefits such as boosting self-esteem and confidence and provides an opportunity to build friendships and support wellbeing.

“We're so pleased to offer these courses in partnership with Mindful Education alongside our existing and extensive adult education offer, to offer even more opportunities for those looking to return to education in the North East."
