Digital Infrastructure (Digital Support Services) - Level 3

• You will typically require a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 or above, including IT/Computer Science and GCSE English and maths at Grade 4 or above.

OR

• Merit grade or higher in Level 2 Extended Certificate/Diploma in Digital/IT/Computing, plus GCSE English and maths at Grade 4 or above.
• You may also be required to participate in an assessment to assess suitability ahead of enrolment.

On successful completion of this course you will achieve a NCFE Level 3 T-Level in Digital Business Services (Digital Infrastructure).

• Careers within the digital support services sector
• Communication in digital support services
• Fault analysis and problem resolution.

You will also complete an occupational specialism component (Digital Infrastructure).

Alongside your studies you will undertake a substantial work experience placement of at least 45 days.

Work experience is an important part of your T-Level. You will undertake a substantial industry placement with an employer for a minimum of 45 days during your course to help you prepare for your next steps. You will also undertake an employer-set project as part of the course.

English and maths skills are vital to all roles in digital and these are embedded throughout the course to help you prepare for working in the industry.

On successful completion of this course, you may progress into the digital sector through an apprenticeship or entry-level role, such as an infrastructure technician. Alternatively, you can progress into higher education and will be guaranteed a place on a relevant degree at Newcastle College University Centre.
