Introduction to Teaching, Learning and Assessing in Sport and Exercise
This module will help you to adopt an integrative approach to the theory and practice of teaching/training and tutoring of sport and exercise and to develop communication and interpersonal skills to aid subject delivery.
Research Methods 3
This module will provide you with the skills needed to design, collect and analyse data in both the qualitative and quantitative paradigms and will develop your critical thinking skills
Current Developments and Best Practice
This module will enable you to understand how current thinking and research in your vocational field can influence best practice
Researching a Professional Environment
The focus of this module is learning through conducting primary research. You will develop skills in research and analysis through independent study of a related subject of your choice.
Optional module:
Applied Psychological Support: this module will provide you with an understanding of the use of psychological support in the field of exercise and performance sports.
Applied Physiological Support: This module will help you to develop the laboratory and theoretical skills required to assess performers and to appreciate the applications and limitations of a range of physiological testing protocols when working to enhance the performance of this athlete.
Sport and Exercise Business Enterprise: This module will provide you with the skills and knowledge to be able to enter the sports industry market and work towards the creation of their own enterprise).
