Choose your pathway! Military, Fire Service or Ambulance.

This course is ideal if you’re aiming for a career in the Uniformed Services. Taught by tutors with real service experience, you’ll develop your fitness, confidence and key skills such as teamwork, communication and leadership. All pathways include a personal development plan, practical activities, and the chance to gain a First Aid qualification and access work experience opportunities.

Military Pathway

Prepare for a future in the Armed Forces with support from tutors who have served in the Military. Work through a focused development plan designed to help you succeed in Military selection processes and entrance exams. You’ll work on fitness, interview skills, teamwork and leadership through practical drills and activities. You’ll also build awareness of mental health and fire safety to support your progression into Military careers.

Fire Service Pathway

If you’re aiming for a career in the Fire and Rescue Service, this course is built to get you there. Learn from ex-Fire Service tutors while developing fitness, teamwork, leadership and communication through practical drills and real-life scenarios. You’ll also gain fire safety and mental health awareness training, achieve a First Aid certificate, and may get the chance to complete work experience with uniformed services partners.

Ambulance Service Pathway

Designed in partnership with the North East Ambulance Service, this pathway prepares you for a future within emergency medical care, whether you see yourself as a frontline responder or in a vital support role. Through practical mock scenarios, you’ll develop communication, teamwork and leadership skills, while creating a personalised plan to support your career goals. You’ll also have the chance to gain a First Aid qualification and may take part in work experience with uniformed services partners, giving you real insight into the role.
