More about the course

Do you want to understand the causes behind crime and how society works to enforce law and order? This Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies course is perfect if you would like to progress onto a law, policing or wider criminal justice related degree.

You will be taught how to write, theorise, reason, and argue by legal professionals and ex-police officers. You will also be introduced to all aspects of the legal system and will explore topics including the application of the law, leadership, criminological theories, changing awareness of crime and solving disputes.

Alongside your studies you will have the opportunity to undertake work placements with local legal firms and take part in social action projects with NE Youth.
