Do you have a passion for hairdressing? Are you currently working in a salon with a Level 2 qualification and want to advance your skills in women’s cutting and colouring? Then this hairdressing course is for you.

Developing your practical skills will be an essential part of the course and you will study in an industry standard salon using leading industry products and working on real paying clients in The Retreat, focusing on developing your technique in creative cutting, colouring and colour correction.

To be successful on this course you will be passionate, driven and committed. You will undertake work experience alongside your studies and will have the opportunity to attend industry lead seminars in current techniques with companies like Revlon and Westrow Academy. In previous years, students have participated in trips and shows for inspiration from leading hairdressing experts including Wella Academy Paris and Professional Hair and Beauty London.

Daily tasks:

Ensures custody of all cash receipts and organises regular stock checks.
Recruits, supervises and trains staff.
Determines financial, staffing, material and other short- and long-term needs.
Advises on the facilities available and promotes publicity in relation to shows, games, races, new theme parks, etc..
Keeps abreast of new trends and developments in recreational activities and arranges exhibitions, theatrical productions, concerts, demonstrations etc..
Ensures that facilities are kept clean and in good condition and that appropriate health and safety requirements are adhered to.
Organises timetable of activities/schedule of programmes.
