Hair, Beauty and Make-Up

Do you have a flair for applying make up? Do you enjoy trying out the latest hairstyles? Are you looking to learn practical skills and techniques to turn a hobby into a successful career? If so, a hair and beauty course with Newcastle College might be for you.

Our hair and beauty courses give you the opportunity to apply your skills on real paying customers within The Retreat, our commercial hair and beauty salon and nail bar which is open to the public.

You will also have access to our beauty and holistic therapy training floor, a Centre for Excellence for the International Institute for Anti-Ageing.

Whether you want to become a hairstylist, colour technician, beauty therapist or make-up artist, we will help you get to where you want to be.

Do you want a career working with people and helping them to feel good? Develop all of the essential skills you need for a future in hairdressing. Once you have completed this course, you can progress onto Hairdressing - Level 2 (Part-Time) (Year 2).
