Do you love to experiment with new looks and hairstyles? Do you like the idea of working with people and helping them to express themselves with their hair?

This part-time Hair Techniques course will help you to develop all of the essential skills and techniques you will need for cutting and styling hair.

You will practice on real clients using industry standard tools and products, and learn from expert tutors in industry standard facilities.

As part of your course you will learn about all of the opportunities available to you in the sector and take part in masterclasses from experts such as Revlon.

Once you have completed this course, you can progress onto Hairdressing - Level 2 (Part-Time) (Year 2).

Daily tasks:

  • Ensures custody of all cash receipts and organises regular stock checks.
  • Recruits, supervises and trains staff.
  • Determines financial, staffing, material and other short- and long-term needs.
