Here are our top tips if you're thinking of applying after the deadline. 

1. Don't Worry

If you miss the UCAS deadline on 31 January to apply for a degree, don't worry! Lots of students go through the same experience in January and many universities and higher education providers will have courses still available to you - including Newcastle College University Centre. Whether you're a student with us or not, contact our Undergraduate Team - we're here to help!

2. Do Your Research

Look at all the courses you are interested in at different higher education providers and make a shortlist of which ones will consider your application after 31 January. It is also worth contacting each provider to express your interest ahead of the sending off your UCAS application. Make the call yourself too - taking control of your own next steps is always a good impression and it means you get to hear all the information first hand! It's always a good idea to take notes as well, and have some questions ready to ask during the call.
