This Level 3 Understanding Autism course is designed to help you build comprehensive knowledge about autism and how to effectively support individuals on the autism spectrum.
You’ll learn how to take a positive approach in your interactions, understanding the current laws and the evolution of theories surrounding autism.
The course also covers how to support individuals through important life transitions, and introduces a range of therapeutic interventions for those with autism and additional conditions.
You’ll gain skills in improving communication and social interactions, and develop a strong understanding of the role and responsibilities of a support worker, including safeguarding vulnerable individuals according to legal requirements.
