    From make-up to massage, facials to electrotherapy, a career in the beauty industry is varied and exciting. If you want to turn your passion into a successful career as a beauty therapist, this Beauty course will help you get there.

    Building on your existing skills and previous experience, you will learn how to safely carry out a range of advanced face and body treatments, including face and body electrotherapy, massage, pre-blend aromatherapy and hot stones.

    Learn how to relax and rejuvenate clients and provide them with holistic wellbeing services, and practise your skills in our Lifestyle Academy which incorporates The Retreat Beauty and Spa, our state of the art commercial environment using professional product ranges such as Elemis and Spa.

    Daily tasks:

    • Ensures custody of all cash receipts and organises regular stock checks.
    • Recruits, supervises and trains staff.
    • Determines financial, staffing, material and other short- and long-term needs.
    • Advises on the facilities available and promotes publicity in relation to shows, games, races, new theme parks, etc..
    • Keeps abreast of new trends and developments in recreational activities and arranges exhibitions, theatrical productions, concerts, demonstrations etc..
    • Ensures that facilities are kept clean and in good condition and that appropriate health and safety requirements are adhered to.
    • Organises timetable of activities/schedule of programmes.
