Understanding Children and Young Peoples Mental Health - Level 2 (Online)

• This is a free course and to access the programme you should live in Tyne and Wear districts.

If you complete this course successfully you will receive a CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health.

You will receive assessment books and learning resources to complete, and you will be linked to a distance learning assessor who will guide you through the course.

Upon enrolment you will be invited to attend online lectures (typically one per unit) to further enrich and support your learning.

We invite guest lectures from industry to speak on this course, to help students gain a broad understanding of current industry practice.

We can help you gain an English and maths qualification alongside this course if you have not achieved them already.

This course is enriched to help you develop your skills in a practical setting and you will gain an understanding of specific Health and Social Care terminology and processes as well as developing your academic written skills.

You will understand patterns and work with percentages when analysing behaviour and interpreting reports.

Learners who have completed this course have expanded their knowledge of health and care and progressed onto courses like our Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism or Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties.
