More about the course

Did you know that 20% of adolescents may experience a mental health problem in any given year?*

Safeguarding the mental health of children and young people is incredibly important and the UK's mental and public health sectors are rapidly expanding to focus on the wellbeing of our young people.

This Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Level 2 is an online course designed for people who work with children and young people or for those who have an interest in learning how to support them.

You will learn about the potential risk factors that threaten the mental wellbeing of children and young people and how to identify warning signs and put preventative measures in place.

The course also covers more specific mental health conditions that may present in early years through to adolescence and how you can access help for clients, service users or loved ones.
