Summer Enrolment 2025

If you haven't applied yet we advise you to do this as soon as possible.

Once you have applied online, we will review your application and be in touch with your next steps. 

You can submit your application before receiving your GCSE results but you will need to wait until you have received these results to complete your enrolment on campus. Results will be released on Thursday 21 August.

If you change your mind after you have applied and would like to discuss your options, please get in touch with our Student Services team who will be able to provide course advice to ensure you find a suitable course. 

Enrolment will take place in person on our main Rye Hill campus in Newcastle.

This is where you will sign your learning agreement and receive your ID badge.

Enrolment will take place on our Rye Hill campus in Newcastle between Monday 18 August - Friday 29 August. 

If you are 16-18 and have applied and accepted your course offer before Friday 27 June, you will be sent an invite to come to campus to complete your enrolment for a specific date and time.

If you are aged 16-18 and have applied after Friday 20 June or have not made an application to study at Newcastle College, you can visit us on campus at the below dates and times to discuss your options:

• Wednesday 27 August: 10am - 6pm
• Thursday 28 August: 10am - 4pm
• Friday 29 August: 10am - 3pm

If you are aged 19+, you can visit us on campus on the below dates and times:

• Monday 18 August:10am – 4pm
• Tuesday 19 August: 10am – 6pm
• Wednesday 20 August: 10am – 4pm
• Wednesday 27 August: 10am - 6pm
• Thursday 28 August: 10am - 4pm
• Friday 29 August: 10am - 3pm

When you come to campus to complete your enrolment, please remember to bring with you:

• Your results or proof of qualifications
• ID
  • One of the following will be accepted: birth certificate, passport, driver's or provisional licence or photographic student ID for returning students
• National Insurance number (if known)
• If you are aged 19+, you will need to provide the means to pay for your course or proof of evidence to waive fees. For example, a current benefits letter or Adult Learner Loan application if studying Level 3. 

Without these we won't be able to fully enrol you onto your chosen course.

If you are an international student, please also bring along your proof of residency. For example:

• EU settlement scheme
• Immigration documents
• Visa
• Residence permit

Any applicants who are looking for academic or pastoral support whilst at Newcastle College will be able to access that support, and you will have the opportunity to speak to those teams during your enrolment.

If you need help accessing support or guidance completing your enrolment, please let us know when you arrive.

Your first few weeks will be spent completing your induction, meeting your tutor and classmates and familiarising yourself with the campus. You'll also find out all of the important stuff you need to know, including all of the support that you can access and what to expect from your time at college.
