About the employer:

This is our 18^th year in business and is a well-established part of Tynemouth Front Street in an all-year round busy establishment. Located on the corner of the front street offering exceptional views of the coast and Tynemouth Priory. We offer outstanding customer service and high-quality food and drink options, using local produce. Everything produced is of the highest quality including our own brand of coffee which we are aiming to sell nationally.

What will you be doing?

The role is made up of various responsibilities including;

Assisting with food preparation

Cooking and preparing elements of dishes.

Assisting other chefs.

Helping with deliveries and restocking.

Assisting with stock rotation.

Contributing to maintain kitchen and food safety standards.

Participating in the cleaning and maintaining of the kitchen and other food preparation and storage areas.

Working Week:

30 hours a week

Rota- to be decided, depending on which days they will be in college. Weekend work will be required.

Future Prospects:

We hope that once their education is completed, we would like to be able to offer them a full time position within our company. This would depend on the success of the candidates and their commitment throughout the course.

Grades Required 

Grade 3 or above in English and Maths is required.
