    Apprenticeship Description

    Duties

    You will assist the stylists in their daily delivery of services to clients, ensuring efficiency and professional integrity. You will meet and greet clients with a friendly persona, taking coats, offering refreshments, and ensuring their comfort. You will also be expected to maintain salon housekeeping alongside colleagues. You must always listen and follow instruction and direction of colleagues; especially during training sessions and when carrying out tasks you lack experience in. You will develop all hairdressing skills as an ongoing development plan. Always communicate effectively with peers and clients to ensure the safety of yourself and others. You will attend college as part of your employment working towards your NVQ Level 2.

    Hours 30 to 40 hours per week; 5 days over 7. Flexibility of these hours will be expected during busy periods; they counterbalance during quieter periods. 

    Probation period

    You will work a probationary period of one (1) to three (3) months. This allows us to assess suitability of each other.

    Holidays You will receive 28 days per year including bank holidays.

    Positive promotion You will be expected to conduct yourself appropriately in public and on social media, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.

    Future Prospects 

    Progression to salon stylist upon successful completion of qualification and competency of delivery

    Must have Maths and English Grade 3 or above
