To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A genuine interest in motor vehicle maintenance and repair.

  • A basic understanding of automotive systems and vehicle components.
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to work.
  • Physical stamina to undertake workshop duties.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Excellent reliability, punctuality and commitment.

Essential Requirements

  • A full UK driving licence is essential, as you will be required to move vehicles around the Nissan site.
  • Essential for candidates to have some experience within a garage, ideally suited for someone who has completed L2 apprenticeship

Future Opportunities

This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to build a long-term career with Vecta. Upon successful completion, there is the potential to progress into a full-time Technician position within the garage team.
