07:30 – 17:15 Monday – Thursday

Salary:
£8.00 per hour initially (age dependent), progressing in line with the Apprentice pay structure.

About the Role

ADM Pressings Ltd are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Technician Apprentices. This is an exciting opportunity to build a long-term career within a dynamic manufacturing environment while gaining recognised engineering qualifications and valuable hands-on experience.

The Apprentice Maintenance Technician will support the maintenance team in ensuring plant, machinery, and facilities operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. The role combines practical on-the-job training with formal apprenticeship learning, developing the technical skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to become a competent Maintenance Technician.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks on machinery, equipment, and building services.
  • Support fault-finding and basic repair of mechanical and electrical systems under supervision.
  • Carry out routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and basic equipment adjustments.
  • Learn and follow maintenance procedures, engineering drawings, manuals, and technical instructions.
  • Accurately record maintenance activities, faults, and parts used within maintenance systems.
  • Work safely at all times in line with company Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment correctly and responsibly.
  • Assist with machine breakdown response and support continuous improvement activities.
  • Attend college or training provider sessions and complete all coursework and assessments.
  • Develop professional behaviours including teamwork, communication, organisation, and time management.
