    Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

    About the Role

    GMZ Motors Ltd is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop their career in the automotive industry within a supportive and hands-on environment.

    You will work alongside experienced technicians, gaining practical skills and industry knowledge while completing your Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle) apprenticeship.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist qualified mechanics with routine servicing and vehicle repairs
    • Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults using diagnostic equipment
    • Carry out basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake checks
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
    • Follow all health and safety procedures
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers

    What We’re Looking For

    • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of vehicle systems (preferred but not essential)
    • Attention to Detail: Ability to work accurately and carefully
    • Problem-Solving Skills: Willingness to learn how to identify and fix issues
    • Physical Fitness: Comfortable with hands-on, practical work
    • Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication
    • Team Player: Works well with others in a workshop environment
    • Willingness to Learn: Positive attitude and eagerness to develop skills
    • Reliability: Good timekeeping and commitment
