About the Role
RS Vehicles is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle) – Level 3 to join our friendly and experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the motor trade and wants to build a successful career as a qualified vehicle technician.
Working alongside experienced mechanics, you will receive hands-on training while studying towards your Level 3 apprenticeship, developing the skills and knowledge needed to become a fully qualified technician.

Key Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Technician, you will:
- Assist experienced mechanics with servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of light vehicles.
- Learn how to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults using specialist diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out routine vehicle maintenance, including oil and filter changes, tyre rotations, brake inspections and other basic servicing tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and workshop policies.
- Develop an understanding of vehicle systems and manufacturer standards.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues and, where appropriate, customers.
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and attend training as required.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 5:00pm
Wage
- £7.55 per hour

Training
You will work towards the Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle) apprenticeship standard while gaining valuable workplace experience with our experienced team.
