About the Role

Billys Automotive Solutions is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician to join our friendly and experienced team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the motor industry and wants to build a successful career as a qualified Light Vehicle Technician. You will receive hands-on training while working alongside experienced mechanics, developing the practical skills and knowledge required to complete your Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities

As an apprentice, you will:

• Assist experienced technicians in carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of light vehicles.
• Learn how to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults using industry-standard diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out basic maintenance tasks including oil and filter changes, tyre rotations and brake inspections.
• Help maintain a clean, tidy and organised workshop.
• Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues and customers.
• Develop your technical knowledge and practical skills throughout the apprenticeship programme.
