    About the employer

    Boatside Inn is a Traditional Country pub serving excellent Classic British dishes, with a contemporary twist. Catering for all ages and a variety of tastes and flavours along with a strong focus on Gluten free. We have recently refurbished and re-opened this very popular Country Pub. There is a regular footfall of locals and tourists visiting the area from far and wide.

    What will the apprentice be doing?

    Assisting with food preparation

    Cooking and preparing elements of dishes.

    Assisting other chefs.

    Helping with deliveries and restocking.

    Assisting with stock rotation.

    Contributing to maintain kitchen and food safety standards.

    Participating in the cleaning and maintaining of the kitchen and other food preparation and storage areas.

    Working Week

    30- 37 hour working week (inclusive of college) on shift basis

    Opening Hours are from 8am until close

    Future Prospects

    We would like to take on an apprentice who can learn, grow and progress to assistant chef as an important member of the team. We run and relaxed, friendly environment and want people to be happy at work and be proud to work at The Boatside Inn.
