    About the Role

    We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Mechanic to join our team and develop their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the motor industry while gaining hands-on experience alongside qualified technicians.

    You will work towards a Level 3 qualification while learning all aspects of vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist experienced mechanics in performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles
    • Learn how to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults using diagnostic tools and equipment
    • Carry out basic servicing tasks including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
    • Follow health and safety procedures at all times
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
    • Develop practical skills and technical knowledge through day-to-day workshop activities

    • Basic understanding of automotive systems and vehicle components
    • Good attention to detail
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Willingness to learn and develop new skills

    • Ability to work well as part of a team

    Future Prospects

    Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to full-time employment within the garage.
