Good news! It's not too late to apply!
If you are worried that you’ve left it too late to apply to Newcastle College University Centre, we are here to put your mind at rest. Even after Results Day has come and gone, Clearing 2023 is open to applications until mid-October, so there’s still plenty of time for you to look at your options and apply for a degree with a difference.
Once universities and colleges have given out all of their conditional and unconditional offers, they may have spaces available on any courses that haven't met capacity. This means that even after Results Day, there are options for students to switch their university place, even if they have got higher grades than expected. But don’t leave it too late - these places fill up quickly, so if you’re thinking about applying, don’t wait too long!

You can also email clearing@ncl-coll.ac.uk. Remember to have your UCAS Personal ID number ready so that we can deal with your enquiry quickly.
When you speak to an adviser, let them know the UCAS code of the course you’re interested in studying. We’re also keen to know your motivations for studying the course and what you’re hoping to achieve from your studies to make sure it’s the right course for you. We’ll talk through the courses we have in that area and the options you have, as well as giving you advice on whether our course is right for you.
If you meet the entry requirements for the course and have relevant knowledge and experience, where appropriate, you may be made an offer. For some courses within Creative Industries, you may be invited to attend an audition or interview first before a decision is made.
