Construction students at Newcastle College have received a letter of thanks from Newcastle’ Freeman Hospital, following a donation they made at Christmas.

Students on plumbing and joinery courses made and sold wood and copper reindeer before Christmas to raise funds for the hospital, making a total donation of £110.

Amanda Waterfall, Charity Operations Manager said: “On behalf of all at Newcastle Hospital Charity, thank you for your kind donation of £110 towards the staff wellbeing fund. We note this donation has been raised through sales of wood and copper reindeers made at Newcastle College and we are so grateful to you and all who supported.”
