Are you passionate about cars and eager to learn from the best in the business? Prestige Motorworks is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join our expert team. An approved Mercedes-Benz Specialist with extensive experience and a team of highly qualified experts.  Servicing and maintaining Mercedes-Benz to the highest standards. 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist experienced mechanics in performing routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles. 

• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. 

• Perform basic tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. 

• Maintain a clean and organised workspace. 

• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. 

• Communicate effectively with team members and customers. 

Working Hours: 

Mon- Fri 8.00 – 5.00 Occasional Saturday work when required. 

30 mins lunch plus 2x 15-minute breaks.

Requirements: 

• Ideally part way through an automotive course. 

• Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of automotive systems and components  

• Attention to Detail: Ability to perform tasks accurately and thoroughly. 

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve mechanical issues. 

• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various conditions. 

• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills. 

• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with others. 

• Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to acquire new skills and knowledge. 

• Reliability: Punctuality and commitment to the role. 

Future Prospects: 

Progress to full time employment with the garage on completion of apprenticeship.
