What We Are Looking For: 

Luminous are looking for a proactive and creative individual with a passion for design and corporate communications. You’ll be working initially with the art working team but gaining experience with design and digital design in the agency. 

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong visual eye, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to learn in a supportive, open environment where initiative is encouraged and everyone's ideas are welcome. 

Initial Responsibilities Include But Will Not Be Limited To: 

  • Working across a range of formats using software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Illustrator, photoshop and word 
  • Designing and creating artwork templates from scratch using stylesheets 
  • Setting up and managing artwork files accurately while maintaining version control and supply updated pdf’s to all stakeholders 
  • Creating web assets to size and scale 
  • Learning the differences between final artwork, (prepare and impose files for digital and print solutions) 
  • Ensuring artwork is consistent across brand guidelines 
  • Adapting artwork for alternative platforms, (i.e. digital output) 

Essential Criteria:

  • Creative concept and design visualisation skills 
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite or similar software 
  • Experience across office 365.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication 
  • Minimum GCSE grade 4 (or equivalent) in Maths and English 
  • Level 3 creative qualification (or equivalent) 
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn 
  • Ability to manage time and deadlines effectively 
  • Interest in working collaboratively within a team environment 

 

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience producing graphic content (professional or personal) 
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Confidence in communicating ideas and feedback 
  • Understanding of basic design principles 

Potential full time employment upon completion. 

WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday 9-5:30 pm
