Level 3 Apprentice Mechanic – Newcastle Garage Services
As part of our continued commitment to developing new talent, we're looking for a motivated and hands-on Apprentice Mechanic to join our team and start an exciting career in the automotive industry.
As an apprentice, you will gain real-world experience, develop key mechanical skills, and work alongside experienced mechanics in a supportive garage environment.
Your Role as an Apprentice Mechanic:
As an Apprentice Mechanic, you will work closely with our skilled technicians and learn to:

Assist in performing routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles

Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults using modern diagnostic tools and equipment

Carry out basic mechanical tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections

Prepare and maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe workspace

Communicate effectively with team members and customers to support smooth operations
Working Hours & Pay:

Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: £7.55 per hour (first-year apprentice rate)
What We’re Looking For:
Grade 4 or above in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) is preferred.
