Every year, Newcastle College students and staff take part in a life-changing volunteering experience in South Africa through the Bambisanani Partnership. This programme uses the power of sport to bring together young people from the UK and rural KwaZulu-Natal.

An unforgettable experience on a
South African Safari
As a celebration of hard work, our students benefit from a day long safari experience in Hluluwe Game Reserve where they attempt to spot 'the big 5' animals! This is often a highlight of everyone's experience in South Africa and is a great opportunity for our students to immerse themselves in the culture and beauty of the country.

How to apply
At the beginning of the academic year you will be given a presentation by a staff member who will speak to you about the trip and give you details on the application process. The process will include:
