Newcastle College University Centre

Launching September 2018

Following an application to the Department for Education, Newcastle College is proud to launch Newcastle College University Centre from September 2018.

Newcastle College which is part of NCG, is able to award its own degrees in the same way in which a university can. These powers allow the College to develop and award its own degrees in response to industry demand and makes it eligible to use University Centre within its name.

The University Centre is designed to offer a real alternative to university for students, mixing a higher level of study within a local college environment. The College's reputation as a vocational skills provider means it can offer professional work-based study opportunities, industry-linked activities and intensive teaching environments, providing a unique level of support rarely found at universities.

What makes up your University Centre?
