Free Courses For Jobs
Are you 19+ years old and interested in coming back to college to achieve a Level 3 qualification? Did you know that Newcastle College now offers a variety of free full-time courses to adults as part of the Free Courses For Jobs initiative.
What is the initiative?
In September 2020 the government announced the Free Courses for Jobs a new initiative set up to help those who have not achieved a Level 3 progress in their education through free training.
As part of the scheme we now offer a select number of courses free to study for adults who live in England, and are aged 19 and over who do not currently hold a Level 3.
How do I apply?
To register your interest, please email enquiries@ncl-coll.ac.uk who will provide you with further information and assess your eligibility for the scheme.

What can you study?
AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting (Online and On Campus)
Master financial processes with this advanced level course. This flexible course is ideal for anyone who is looking to advance their existing knowledge of accounting.
Length: Tuesdays 6pm - 8pm weekly in class and 2.5 hours per week online for 35 weeks

Supporting Teaching and Learning - Level 3
This Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning course is a one year programme that will help prepare you for employment as a Teaching Assistant.
Length: 4 hours per week for 35 weeks (plus 1 day per week work experience)

Award in Education and Training (AET) - Level 3
This Award in Education and Teaching course is a great introduction to teaching and is ideal if you are looking to find out more about the sector before undertaking further teaching qualifications.
