More about the course

Teaching Assistants make a difference to children and young people's lives every day. Through dedicated support in classrooms, Teaching Assistants help to foster education and development through one-to-one support and guidance in the classroom.

This Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning course is a one year programme that will help prepare you for employment as a Teaching Assistant. Like our Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning this programme will provide you with an opportunity to undertake practical work placement, as well as build your theoretical knowledge with support from our industry experienced tutors.

Supporting Teaching and Learning will give you a deeper understanding of education which may be required for specialised roles and could also help you progress towards a higher level teaching assistant (HLTA) qualification.
