On this course you will gain an understanding of suicide risk and how people might react when faced with a difficult situation or circumstance.

You will consider the impact of challenging situations on mood and behaviour and how this can lead to negative thoughts and feelings.

This will provide an awareness of how suicidal thoughts can arise and identify those at potential risk of suicide.

  • Trains students and supervises the work of occupational therapy assistants.
  • Liaises with a wide variety of other professionals in planning and reviewing ongoing treatments.
