If you enjoy problem solving and are looking for a diverse career, this Plumbing course will set you on the right track.
You will learn about plumbing processes, hot and cold water systems, sanitation, central heating systems and drainage systems.
You will be taught by tutors who have years of experience working for themselves and for companies such as British Gas, Ideal Boilers, Valiant, Baxi and Worchester.
Plumbing students have the opportunity to take part in competitions including SkillBuild and inter-college competitions.
You will also have the opportunity to gain your CSCS card which allows you to work on a building site.
4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English and maths.
What will I achieve?
On successful completion of this course you will receive a City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing.

Students studying plumbing will benefit from work experience opportunities with companies such as Bellway Homes and Persimmon Homes.
English and Maths
Plumbers rely on English and maths in their working day to provide estimates, take measurements and calculate quantities of materials required. We will embed both subjects into your programme so you feel confident using your skills.
If you have not yet achieved English and/or maths at grade 4 or above, you will be supported with dedicated lessons to help you achieve these qualifications.
Where can I progress?
You can progress to a plumbing apprenticeship when you successfully complete this course.
