Overview
This course is for anyone with a passion or strong interest in bakery ,patisserie and confectionery .You will develop your practical skills and knowledge for a career in bakery patisserie and confectionery through an engaging industry focused course .
Practical skills will be constantly developed through skills classes as well as production sessions underpinned by week to week industry engagement to help you develop your skills set and confidence .A one day a week six month placement opens your eyes to the opportunities available in industry as skills are developed by a challenging college curriculum .
Practical exams throughout the year as well as end of year exams assessed by Tutors and industry experts stretch and challenge students.
Theory classes engage and challenge learners to think about emerging trends in industry to ensure that they leave College at Level 3 with an opinion and educated view on the industry in which they will work.
