Overview

This course is suitable for anyone who has successfully completed Level 1 Diploma Plumbing who wish to progress further in the plumbing trade.

Who is course for

This course is designed as a progression route for Level 1 Plumbing students who wish to progress their plumbing skills to the next level.

Qualification Gained

City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and Domestic Heating.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should already have achieved a Level 1 Diploma in Plumbing.

Students should be keen and enthusiastic with a desire to fully complete the course.

If English is not your first language, you will need to pass an English Test with a score of 5.5.

Additional Course Costs

All students in the Construction Academy will be required to wear a branded uniform which consists of items listed below, it can be obtained from ARCO. Learners from a low income household may qualify for the cost of the uniform to be covered by the Learner Support Fund, please see https://www.ncl-coll.ac.uk/school-leavers/financial-support-ncmas  for details.
Those who qualify for support from the Learner Support Fund please do not order your own uniform.

Tuition is free for learners aged 16 to 18. A learner will continue to be eligible for free tuition for the duration of their qualification, this includes Year 2 of a qualification if the learner was aged 16-18 when they started in Year 1.
