Alan Rowe Signs and Graphics are offering an Apprentice the route into a potential full time career with the business. We are a family run business specialising in creating signs and custom graphics for vehicles. We are offering the opportunity to work in a hands on role within the business, offering customer service support as well as administrative support to the business.

What will the apprentice be doing?
An exciting role that involves creating signs and custom graphics for predominantly but not limited to vehicles and shop signs based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
You would meet with the client face to face, on the phone or through email to discuss their ideas and vision for their vehicle branding and offer your suggestions and expertise on how to complete this, this may involve travelling around the North East.
From the customer consultation you would be expected to use specialist software to design, manufacture and then print the final graphics at our Newcastle based site
You will also be expected to clean and prepare the vehicles prior to fitting the graphics which goes from basic lettering to partial wraps. Training will be provided on how to use the software and large format printers as well as fitting.
Other aspects of the role involve serving customers at our store counter, selling off the shelf items, registration plates and other items. As well as general workshop and office tidying/maintenance. All training would be provided. Staff carpark and easy reach to metro and bus links. You will gain a Level 3 Buisiness Administrator qualification upon completing the course. Possible permanent employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
Days and times of the working week:
Monday -Friday 9am-5pm, 1 Day out of office in College training
Entry requirements:
MUST have GCSE Maths and English level 3 or above.
