Newcastle College will be hosting a Higher Education Open Day on Friday 26th March 2010 from 11.00am - 3.30pm. So, if you’re thinking about studying at Newcastle College, come and see our amazing campus for yourself. The event will showcase the college’s Higher Education provision, highlighting our wide range of Foundation Degrees and Honours Degrees through a series of tours, talks and workshops.
As a visitor you will be given the opportunity to meet tutors from the subject areas you are interested in and see the range of facilities available to higher education students at Newcastle College.
You’ll get a real flavour of life here on a campus tour and meet current students. Why not bring along your family and friends too?
We will be running tasters and workshops across the following pathway areas:

Business and Enterprise (including Administration, Business and Management)

Health and Care (including Childcare, Social Care and Public Services)

Lifestyle Academy (including Sport, Hair, Beauty and Holistics, Travel and Hospitality)

Performance Academy (including Live Music, Acting, Directing, TV and Theatre Production, Events and Musical Theatre)

Art & Design (including Photography, Fashion and Textiles, Fine Art, Graphic, Web and Advertising Design and Ceramics, Interior Architecture)

Applied Science (including Computing, IT, Web, Engineering, Science and Aerospace)

Construction & Civil Engineering (including Construction Management and Surveying)
The day will also involve talks on the services and support available to students at Newcastle College as HE students including Learning Support, Students’ Union and Student Services, in particular regarding tuition fees, students loans and our generous bursary scheme.
