NCSU can help you in lots of ways!
Newcastle College Students’ Union (NCSU) can help you in many different ways. The Union ensure that your voice is heard by meeting regularly with students across the College through Learner Forums and the college Student Liaison Officer and Union President feedback ideas for continuous improvement through to the College Principalship.
The Union is a fun and exciting place in the college where there’s always something happening. It’s a great place to meet new people and get involved in various types of activities. The SU can provide you with advice on a number of issues from sexual health, housing, drugs and alcohol, staying safe and mental health. It is an inclusive safe space so regardless of your race, religion, ethnic origin, creed, sexuality, age, gender or disability the SU is here to represent you fairly and without prejudice.
The SU also organises a series of cross campus events throughout the year from Freshers' Week and volunteering fayres to picnics and parties so keep an eye on the NCSU Facebook page.
The Students’ Union is here to represent you, ensuring you have the best college experience possible, so it’s a good idea to get connected. There are also a number of roles for elected officers to help with the running of the SU and represent the student population in areas such as LGBT, disabilities, entertainment and welfare. Students are elected annually to these roles so make sure you look out for the SU elections!
