As the days are counting down to the start of the games, Newcastle College are getting involved in a number of Olympic related events. The first being on WEDNESDAY 17TH MARCH
You will see a number of static bikes and rowing machines situated around the college - Feel free to jump on a cover as many kilometres as you can - every km counts!!
Our mission on the Wednesday is to cover the 454.5 km which it is from Newcastle College to the Olympic Stadium!

If you are interested in giving Rugby League a try we will be holding taster sessions every Tuesday in March 4.30 - 6.00
- 2 weeks in the college Sports Hall - Rye Hill Campus (2nd & 9th March)
- 2 weeks at Gateshead Thunders Pitch (16th & 23rd March)

After a shaky start and losses to Gateshead, Tyne Met 2 and an average stance in the BCS North Championships we have now gone on a 5 game unbeaten run.
It started with an away win in Sunderland, followed by home wins in the league against Gateshead, Hartlepool F E, Queen Elizabeth (walkover).
In the knockout cup today 9th December we beat Stockton to progress to the next round and make it 5 straight.
