Course Information

Newcastle College offers a wide variety of programmes designed to meet the needs of our international students. Our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes start in September with some programmes having various starts dates including January, April and June.

English Language

Our innovative English language programme starts every Monday and welcomes students from accross the world. Our course provision is outlined below:

English Programmes

Our flexible English Language provision includes academic and general English classes; we provide exam preparation classes for IELTS and Cambridge exams and are accredited by the British Council and English UK. Study options are flexible based on your needs and previous experience, hours range from 15 to 21 hours per week starting every Monday.

Pre-University Programmes

Our specialist International Foundation Programme provides international students with a nationally recognised route to Higher Education in the UK. Students will study a programme that is fully validated by Northumbria University and is recognised by UK Higher Education institutions as a pathway to University Degree programmes.

University Degrees

Newcastle College is one of only 2 colleges in the UK to be granted Foundation Degree awarding powers and we offer a wide range of two year Foundation Degree programmes. Many students choose to continue their studies at Newcastle College with our one year University validated ‘top up’ Honours Degrees.

All of our Postgraduate Business Programmes are taught at our City centre campus adjacent to Northumbria University. We offer a range of University validated Masters Programmes at a competitive price.
