1 Submit your Application
Please select a course that you are interested in by selecting one of the courses in the international section. This will give you a list of all of the courses available to international students.
2. Submit your Application
All courses can by applied for either online using our online application form or via email, post or fax. Please download an application form and and return the fully completed form along with:
- Evidence of academic qualifications, translated into English where a document is not in English, as per UK Border Agency requirements
- Evidence of your English language proficiency. Please refer to the UK Border Agency website, www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk, for full details
- Copy of photo and details page of passport, if you currently hold one
- Copy of any UK Visas held

3. Receive a Conditional Offer
We will carefully assess your application against the course entry requirements and if you are suitable for your chosen course we will email a conditional offer letter to the email address stated on your application form.
4. Fulfil any Conditions
Your conditional offer letter will specify the course name, duration and dates, fee payment schedule and also whether you are required to submit any further documentation in order to receive an unconditional offer. Please read your offer letter carefully and send any requested documentation as soon as possible via any of the methods stated above.
5. Pay the Deposit
Once you have met all of the conditions stated on the offer letter you can pay the deposit requested on the offer letter. You can pay by electronic bank transfer, cheque in £ (British Pounds), bankers draft or credit card. All deposits are accepted in line with Newcastle College’s Terms and Conditions for International Students.
6. Receive a CAS/Unconditional Offer
Once we receive the payment we will email you a Confirmation of Acceptance for Study Number, which you will need to apply for your visa.
7. Apply for a visa
If you are from a country outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) you are likely to require a visa. Please refer to the UK Border Agency website, www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk, for full information of visa types and visa application processing. Please note that Newcastle College will not enrol students on Child Visas.
8. Book accommodation and travel
You should apply for accommodation when Newcastle College is your firm choice for your studies. Once your visa has been granted, you should book your travels. Please refer to the Accommodation and Travel section of our website for further details.
9. Welcome to Newcastle College!
If you wish we can make arrangements for an airport pick up to your accommodation. Please note that there is a charge for this service.
Please arrive at the International Office, Rye Hill House, to enrol on the course start date. You will be given the opportunity to take part in our induction programme to help you settle into Newcastle College and the city.
