Homestay Accommodation
This is a programme that enables international students to live with a local family while they study at Newcastle College.
Homestay accommodation is £115 per week for academic year 2010/2011. Rental charges will include electric, water, fuel charges and internet charges if this is available. Your host will provide you with breakfast and evening meals during the week and 3 meals at weekends.
Rental charges for academic year 2011/12 Homestay accommodation is £120 per week if the booking is from September 2011 onwards.
There are a wide variety of homestay hosts: families with children, families without children, single hosts, hosts with pets (dogs and cats), and hosts without pets. Please note that we try to fulfil all your requests but it is not always possible to do so.
As an international student you will have the opportunity to:
- Practise your English with native speakers
- Learn more about British culture and our way of life
- Receive lots of guidance and support from your host

Please note that you should send your accommodation application at least one month before your estimated arrival date in Newcastle.
Newcastle College International Office can not guarantee that homestay accommodation will always be available.
